The Transform panel
- [Instructor] We all have photos like this one that came out more crooked than we intended. The transform panel is where you go to correct distorted perspective like we see here in this photo of a staircase with columns. Lightroom's transform tools, are also referred to as upright perspective correction. You'll find this photo in our Chapter 7 > 07_06 I have the transform panel here, open in the develop module. Let's take a look at the options here. At the top we have a bunch of buttons. These buttons offer different automatic options to correct the perspective. Sometimes one of them will work perfectly to fix an image. So I usually try all of them. If we click on Level, it's going to attempt to level out those stairs. And if we click on Vertical, it's going to attempt to straighten out the columns. Full, we'll do a combination of both of those. And it's really similar to Auto.
