- Next, let's explore how we can use Analog Efex Pro in order to craft a unique look with this photograph. This photograph is a self-portrait and what I want to do with this image is add a lot of texture, create a border, remove some color. To do that again, we'll select the layer we want to work on, go to the Filter pull-down menu, Nik Collection, and then choose Analog Efex Pro. This will open up Analog Efex Pro, and what we're going to do here is dig a little bit deeper into some of our controls and really try to craft a look. You know, sometimes you'll use these plugins just to kind of play around a little bit. Other times, to try to accomplish your vision for a photograph. So my vision is to use one of these options. They're called wet plate and what they're trying to do is try to simulate a little bit of using that or creating an image in that wet plate traditional analog-type of photography.
