As you are discovering in this chapter, these mini-projects are more my chance to showcase how you might use different HDR toning effects. And in this mini-project I want to showcase a few more things. One is a technique that I'll use in order to give myself some flexibility with the type of HDR toning that I use, and then two, I want to talk about how we can bring some color into the mix if we want to add, I don't know maybe a sepia tone look, when working with HDR toning. Alright, well we'll work with this photograph of my buddy Sean here, and what I'm going to do is click on the background layer, then click on the adjustment layer icon for black and white, and we'll make a black and white conversion, and just sort of guess on how we might want to change the look of the photograph. I think I'm going to brighten this one up a little bit. After having done that, we'll go ahead and close that panel.
