Using the exercise files

- In order to get the most out of this course, I've put together a small collection of exercise files. These are really just a diverse selection of photos, a few from a few different trips, as well as a couple of images that we're going to use in the face-detection section to show you how these features work. It's a small subset of a big library, but I just wanted to give you a little bit of variety to work with. Please keep in mind a few things. One, Lightroom is going to sync to the cloud. So your version is going to look different than my version. I've started with a fresh system here that has nothing in it. But if you already have photos in your library, you may see those images as well. Unfortunately, Lightroom doesn't make it easy to have multiple catalogs that you switch between. As such, if you're going to get organized, you may find yourself needing to limit what you look at, such as recently imported files, or if you're just getting started, this'll be easier because you won't have other images in your library. When this course is done, though, I suggest you select the images that you've imported for the lessons and delete them. You don't need pictures of my vacations and kids in your library, as well as a few professional photos. I would suggest that you remove those. You could do this by easily selecting the previous import and pressing the delete key to remove them when you're all done. And we'll revisit those steps at the end of this course. All right, if you've got the software downloaded and the exercise files as well, let's get started.
