Viewing on your own computer
- If you're following along with this course you've now created a beautiful panoramic image but it's just a flat image on your computer. Now lets talk about how to view those interactively. When I'm ready to look at my panorama's on my computer without sharing them anywhere else, I like to use one of three different options. First of all if you've been watching earlier videos you'll know that I use PT GUI. PT GUI comes with a built in viewer. On the Mac you can open it either by dragging an image into the icon or just using the browsing menu under file open panorama. I'll just grab one of the ones that we've been working with. Here's the Falls Church panorama. Click open and there it is. Showing interactively on my screen. We can make it full screen and allows us to go through where we want to just view our panorama or if it's time to check for problems that we have, the quality of our stitching, how our processing has looked, et cetera.
