Who are these people?

- [Narrator] These are a couple pictures of my dad. And here we have a portrait that was taken in 1957, as we can see. And here's a group shot that he's in as well. And the reason why I'm showing you this is because of the information that we have right here, and how much more meaning it gives to the images. My father was on a police force in Chino, California at a time when there were probably more cows in Chino than there were people. This was an agricultural area and you can see that the police force was not very big at the time. He used to tell me lots of stories of chasing people through fields and stuff like that. Up here for the group shot, look at this, we have the first row and the second row and we know who all of these people are. Now I'm bring this up because one of the things about archiving photos and doing all this work, whether you're digitizing snapshots or even the pictures that you take with your smartphone…
