- By now, you have a pretty good idea of what we're going to accomplish on today's shoot, but I want to just break it down one more level, so you really feel like you understand the challenges ahead. Now, you might say, well, it's no big deal. I could just pan and shoot that. I can get multiple shots. But there's tricky things here. If you're camera's in an automatic mode, it's possible, as you pan the camera, that things are going to change. So, for example, maybe you are shooting with the shutter speed locked and the apertures dynamically changing, well, you might get differences in the depth of field in the image, and that's going to make a weird-looking image. Don't set your camera up right? Well, you might get additional distortion. Don't set the camera level? Well, your panoramic might start to lean.
