Add certificates to your profile

- [Instructor] After completing a course or Learning Path on LinkedIn, I recommend adding this accomplishment to your profile. LinkedIn Learning makes this incredibly simple. Not only will doing this help you to showcase your new skills but also demonstrates to your network and managers that you have an ability and willingness to keep learning. Here inside of LinkedIn Learning, I finished watching the Instructional Design: Needs Analysis course. Once you finish watching a course, inside the video player, you'll see a congratulations message. This is letting me know that I've finished the course. Now, from here I can download the certificate, if I want a hard copy, or I can add it directly to my LinkedIn profile. So from here, I'll click Add to Profile. It's asking me here if I'd like to add this profile under Licenses & Certifications. It also asks if I want to share this with my network. I'm not going to share the thing as a post, but I just want to add it to my LinkedIn profile. Now, when I'm done, I can click Add to Profile, and it will go ahead and automatically add that. If you have a course which you've completed in the past but didn't add it to your LinkedIn profile, you can still easily do that. Let's take a look at how. I'm going to go up to my profile picture in the upper-right corner, click on this, and from the drop down, select Learning History. Here you'll see any courses that you've completed. Now, let's say for example, the Leadership Foundations course, I didn't add to my profile. I can go to the right, click on More, and one of the choices is to Add to Profile. I click there, and much in the same way, I can go ahead and add this to my profile like I did the other course that I completed. As people are browsing your LinkedIn profile, they'll be able to see that you've completed this course and can even navigate to the course to see what you've learned. This is a great way to show that you're taking your own professional development seriously and continuing to learn. The ability and willingness to learn are some of the most important career skills moving forward. Take advantage of this feature to share your accomplishments.
