- Isn't it exciting to get new technology? Even though it's exciting, we rarely use all of the features it offers. Much of the time it sits idle and often gets forgotten or left behind. Elearning technology's purpose is two fold. First, it's meant to engage users to learn. And second, it should provide operational benefits for your organization. To address these points, here are some things to keep in mind when selecting Elearning technology. First, it's easy to get wrapped up in the fancy features. Ultimately it's about addressing a learning need. A recent client insisted on purchasing a very expensive learning management system for a small group of employees. They simply wanted to manage a growing library of Elearning courses so employees could quickly access them.
