Amplify organically and with ads

- [Instructor] But what if your posts are getting no traction? Well, let me tell you a little story. One of my clients had a whopping 105 views on their company page updates. Now, to be fair, that's because they had just created their page and they didn't have any followers outside of their own employees. Here's what happened. We encouraged their seven employees to share the content to their networks. The views on their posts went up past 12,000 views, and that's with only seven employees. Think about what you can do with your employee base, getting them to share and amplify your updates from your company page. As you can see, once you've created a strong company page and developed some content, it's important to understand that there is more for you to do. You now need to encourage your employees to go in and like and comment and share those updates. Just have them click on share a post, describe the update, and post. That's all it takes. If the only thing you're doing is posting content on your page, then the only people who are going to see that content are the followers of your company page. Now, if your company has 11 million, 620, and 28 followers, that's great, but if it only has 39 followers, then you really do need to get your employees amplifying your content by sharing it. As I mentioned, an easy way to get content to your employees so that they will share it is to simply go to your company page, find the post that you want to share, copy the link into a Word doc and maybe describe what the post is. Give them a little text that they can then simply copy and paste into their post. Then all they have to do is copy and paste or even just click on the link, and it'll take 'em right to the original post. From there, they can like, comment, and hopefully, share to their audience. That brings the update out of the LinkedIn company page and into the general population of LinkedIn members who may not be following your company page, but are connected to your employees, and that could exponentially increase views, increasing awareness and engagement. Now, you can even click on the button that says notify employees at the top of the post, but don't rely on just that. Take action when nurturing employee advocacy by giving employees different options to share your content.
