Apply for a job on LinkedIn

- [Instructor] So you found a job that you're interested in. Now what? Well, if you're ready to apply, you can do that from within the job posting. For this example, I just did a random search under Julie Parker's account. And now over to the left, she has some jobs that she's interested in. So she wants to apply. Well, at the top, the first one, if I click on it, I can see on the right, the job posting, learn more about this, but at the top, I can click on this blue Apply button. Now, there is two different types of Apply buttons on LinkedIn, and I want to show you the difference between the two. In the job below this one, you'll see that it has this Apply easily icon. If it has that, I'll click on this job, it'll have a little bit different button that says Apply now. Here's the difference. If it says Apply now, it's one of the Apply easily, you'll be able to apply with your LinkedIn profile right here. So if I click Apply now, I'm going to enter in my information from my LinkedIn profile. It even has my resume uploaded because I uploaded that before. I can go ahead then and submit my application. Now I'm going to click off of this, click Discard and go back up to the top one. This one does not say Apply easily, but you can still easily apply. The thing is is that on LinkedIn in this job posting, you'll be able to click on Apply, and then it will bring you to a third party site, usually that company's site, where you'll then apply for the job there. For this example, I'll click on Apply, and it brings me to this page or I can apply for the job now on their website. So that's the two different ways that you can apply for these jobs. It's really easy to do, and you can do it from right inside of the job postings.
