Four ways to increase followers

- [Instructor] Now you know what kinds of content to share on your LinkedIn company page and how to get followers by having employees amplify your brand. But what can you do to increase your followers? There are a lot of company pages on LinkedIn, and according to LinkedIn Search, almost 54 million company and affiliate pages. If you have a newer page, a newer business, or if you've just rebranded and people don't know your new brand yet, you will need to make an effort to let your audience know about your page. And even if people know you have a company page, they don't always take the second step of following it. You need to make that extra effort to get people to find and follow your page. Well, the easiest thing to do is simply go to your page and go to where it says Invite Connections to Follow. Or you can go to the Admin tools and you'll see the option to Invite Connections. You can invite up to a hundred people a month and actually up to 50 people a day. If you don't have the feature or prefer to do more of a personal invitation to follow your page, you can always share your company on your social media channels by clicking on Share Page. On your website or blog, make sure to have your company page links. On LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, share updates letting people know that you have a company page and, of course, include the link to the company page. Another suggestion is to, once every quarter or so, send an email or newsletter out to your email list and let people know that you have a company page and showcase pages on LinkedIn. Describe what those pages are and then give them the link so that they can easily find and follow your page. Let's face it, there's a lot of noise out there, so we also have to give people a reason to follow. Let them know that there will be promo codes, articles, videos, information that maybe they'll only be able to see on your LinkedIn page and nowhere else. Another easy thing to do is have your employees add your company page link to their email signature. Maybe add the call to action, like follow our company page for more discounts, or follow our company page for more info. Now, an awesome tool my company uses to create email signatures is WiseStamp. It allows you to customize email signatures with your image, contact info, social links, and even banners. And this will help drive people to your company page. Actively sharing your company page will increase your visibility, which in turn will increase your traffic, which will increase your followers, and so that the next time you share a post, even more people will see it.
