Setting up admins

- [Instructor] Speaking of sharing content to your company page, you can only do it if you're an administrator of that page. And to find out if you're an administrator, simply go to the Me icon on your personal profile, click on the down arrow and see if you've got your company page listed. If you do, just jump on over to your company page and you'll see all of the administration and editing tools. Now, if you don't see this option, you might need to do a little sleuthing to find out who is the administrator of your company page, and then ask them to make you an administrator as well. So how do you add administrators to your company page? Well, you're simply going to click on Admin Tools and then come down to Manage Admins. And from here, you'll be able to add the admin just by typing in their name. Now, something to be aware of, you do have to be first level connections in order to add the admin to the page. There are a bunch of different types of admins that you can add, but 90% of the time, the designated admin is what you're going to want. But let's take a look at some of these other options as well. If you've multiple employees who are going to be posting content, you might also consider making them a sponsored content poster, which will give them access only to the content part of your page. Now, I mentioned the designated admin access and that allows employees to make edits to the page, add other admins and post those updates. Lead gen forms managers access allows admins to download leads from the campaign manager, pipeline builder admin access also allows users to create and edit pipeline builder landing pages that are associated with your page. Now, of course, you must be an administrator in order to access the page, but once you have that, you can share content just by clicking on the updates box and sharing your articles, photos, updates, and images. Of course, using the anatomy of a post mentioned in the previous movie. Having your team actively engage on your page, depends on an active administrator. If you don't have the time, then find an employee who's excited to take on this task and promote them.
