- [Instructor] All social media platforms to one degree or another, are gated communities, meaning access and features are limited if you don't have an account count established or you're not logged in. In my opinion, Facebook is the new America online, which ironically works the exact same way. You have to log in in order to fully access content, interact with people and use the features they offer. So you need to keep that in mind when you're using it to share your work and information. Let's say you have 2,000 followers. That doesn't mean a post you make on the platform will show in your 2,000 followers' timelines. But we'll talk about that more later in an upcoming movie.
