- [Instructor] Out of all of the various social media platforms available, I've used Twitter the longest. A friend of mine was a beta tester and invited me to join three months after they launched and I've been using it ever since. What I like about Twitter is that it's not bogged down with a user interface that is always trying to sell you something or recommending you to do something with multiple navigation menus and zones you can accidentally click, like Facebook does. And for that reason alone, I love it. It also tends to be a bit more cerebral in terms of content shared, since most of the content is text driven. People can't get too verbose with their tweets since its very premise is to limit characters to 280. So let's do an overview of Twitter.
