Using captioning on videos

(bubbly music) - So whenever you're creating videos on LinkedIn, I hope you'll consider using captioning. Now captioning helps three different audiences on LinkedIn. One is our amazing deaf community on LinkedIn. Another one is busy professionals who are watching these videos, of course, on the go, or silently during meetings; very naughty (laughs). Or three, is our community who doesn't speak English as a first language. Now I've actually created a new hashtag on LinkedIn. It's called #AccessForAll, and whenever you use this hashtag, other people know that this video is captioned and that they can watch it with captioning and subtitles. Now, if you're on an iPhone, you can use one of two apps. One is Clips, and the other is Clipomatic. So on the screen right here, I actually have a video, and it uses Clipomatic, so it has my captioning as an adorable little bubble. Now one trick is to hard code your subtitles into your videos.
