When to choose video vs. articles

(upbeat music) (popping) - What kind of content should you create on LinkedIn? Now there are three types of content that you can do. One is a video, obviously, my favorite. (giggling) Two is an article, which is a long form blog post that exists on LinkedIn. And number three is a status message, and this can be short or long, depending on how you feel. So I'm going to talk about two of these right now, videos and articles. Here's one of the recent videos I did on LinkedIn with another LinkedIn content creator, Brittany Crystal. And here is one of my older articles, our Pulse articles. So why would you choose to make a video over an article? Videos are great for three reasons. Number one, videos are so fast to do. It's easy to take just your mobile device and, boom, you've created a video in the LinkedIn app and you can directly upload it so fast. Number two, videos are great for a Google SEO.
