Why LinkedIn?
- [Oliver] LinkedIn has over 700 million members across over 200 countries and it's the go-to platform for most professionals. As I mentioned in the introduction to this course, there are over 14 million active job postings on LinkedIn. On average, every minute, three new people are hired on LinkedIn, but LinkedIn isn't just a place to go to view job postings. It's an entire platform with features and tools that allow you to network with like-minded professionals, stay up to date in your industry through your newsfeed, communicate with your connections, research people in companies, and so much more. LinkedIn is your one-stop shop for all things related to finding and succeeding at the job you want. Now, in this course, I'm going to be focusing on how to find a job on LinkedIn. However, I'm not going to be going over a lot of the other features.
