- [Instructor] In order to create a disk-based iSCSI LUN, we'll need to add another virtual drive to our rhhost1 VM. For this to happen, we'll want to have our rhhost1 VM shut down. If you haven't snap shotted its current state, you may want to do that now. Also make sure that you completed the previous video, which had us logging out the initiator before shutting down the target. Once it's shut down, click on it in the virtual box manager window and discard the saved state by clicking the discard button, and discard again in the dialogue, then click on settings, storage, controller SATA, and click the add hard disk button. Click on create new disk. Take the default of VDI and click on next, take the default of dynamically allocated and click next again. Name the disk iSCSIDisk1. You can make it any size you want, but since it's a dynamic disk, we can leave it at eight gigabytes. If we don't put any data in it, then it won't take up any space on the host hard drive.
