- [Narrator] In the course Linux: Overview and Installation, we took a tour of GNOME 3, including how to configure it and add extensions. For more information, please refer to that course. In this course, we'll go through the process of installing GNOME 3. The CentOS 7 VM I'm using is the one we created in Linux: Overview and Installation which has GNOME 3 already installed. However, if you didn't install a GUI when you installed CentOS, or you installed KDE, this video will show you how to install GNOME 3. You'll want to make sure your network is connected before continuing, as you'll need it to install software from the online software repository. Let's start off by opening a terminal by going to Favorites, click on Terminal. I'm going to leave the Terminal full size and increase my font one size.
