- [Instructor] The standard enterprise Linux software repositories contain a lot of server packages, but not many GUI programs. To add more desktop-centric software, you'll need to add some third-party software repositories. There are several ways of doing this. Our first package will add the repository automatically. The next repository will reside in a package that we'll install from the standard enterprise Linux repo. For the last repository, we'll download an RPM package from the internet and manually install it. The default web browser and enterprise Linux is Firefox. And even though Firefox works well, you may also want to try the world's most popular web browser Google Chrome to install Chrome, open, Firefox and search for Google Chrome. Then click on download Chrome today and then click on download Chrome. Note that this will download and install Chrome but it will also add a software repository to your system.…
