Linux is about choice: cat, less, and more

- [Instructor] Sh run shows us the running config of a router. What I'll do here is copy the sh run, and, on the Ubuntu server, in this example I'm SSH-ing, from the Docker container to the Ubuntu server. I'll create a file called shrun, and I'll paste that configuration in, and save it. So at the moment I've got a shrun file, on the Ubuntu server. (triumphant orchestral music) Linux is all about choice, and there are various utilities that allow you to do things that are kind of similar. And you may wonder, why do we have this or that, that do kind of the same thing? But that's the thing about Linux, there are many distributions, and there are many applications; choose the one that you like. As an example, cat will allow us to print out the output of a file, but it whizzes past, and you have to use your mouse, as an example, to scroll up and down the file, and that's not always possible, and that's not always possible to do, for example, when you're using a console.
