Manage server storage with Linux

- [Grant] Managing server storage and backups is vital for live server up time. To become a Linux system engineer, you will need to master these skills. In this course, we'll resize partition boundaries on a live system without losing data and optimize the file systems for durability. To overcome limitations with partitions, we'll create dynamic volume groups containing logical volumes and add new physical drives to them arranged into redundant arrays with both backup and rollback snapshots. We'll also use tar with compressors to back up our server. I'm Grant McWilliams, computer science instructor and Linux enthusiast. Join me now in my course, Linux System Engineer: Advanced Disk Systems and System Backup. Let's get started.
