Manage user print jobs

- [Narrator] On occasion we have to check on user print jobs. This exercise we'll need some print jobs. Click on Applications then go down to Activities Overview. And click on Printers. This is the Gnome Printer GUI, this tool is best used for simple print setup, as it doesn't have all the power of the CUPS GUI. Click on the gear icon next to our bogus printer. And then click on Printing Options. In the resulting dialogue in the top left, we have a Test Page button. This prints a test page, click it several times. Now close this window. We can see from the GUI that we have three jobs in the BogusPrinter1 queue. Now close this GUI. The first thing we'll do on the command line is see if any print jobs are queued currently. For this we'll use the lpq command with the all option. Type in lpq space dash A and hit enter. If you want to specify which printer to query, use the dash capital P option, followed by the printer…
