Navigating the GNOME desktop

- [Instructor] While we can install many different kinds of desktop environment on Debian, the one considered the default for desktop usage on Debian 10 is the GNOME desktop. Throughout this course so far, I've been using the GNOME desktop environment but with a full-screen terminal application. Let's take a few minutes to more fully explore the desktop and get an idea of how it works. I'll unmaximize my terminal by pressing f11. And then, I'll go up here to the right side of the screen, I'll click my user name and I'll choose Log Out. This is the login screen which you'll see if you have a desktop installed and if you haven't set your system to automatically login. Depending on which desktop you're using, you may see a slightly different screen, but they all work pretty much the same way. There's a listing of users and an option to specify a different user.
