Performance Co-Pilot, for example, has lots of facilities and possibilities. There's also the Berkley Packet Filter mechanisms. There's a lot there. Look at the examples. Trey 'em out, and you can even write your own programs, but you need a pretty new kernel. And then of course, sar, the old standby, is pretty straightforward, but it's got lots of options you can look at. So there you go. That will keep you busy for quite a while.
