(adventurous music) - [Instructor] Another reason to learn Linux is the revolution coming with the Internet of Things. In the past, communication was between humans and machines, but with the Internet of Things, more communication is gonna take place between machines than humans and machines. In other words, machine to machine communication is gonna far outstrip communication between humans and machines. The Internet of Things, or IoT, is gonna allow companies to monitor all kinds of things in their businesses. 95% of executives plan to launch an IoT business within three years. Businesses are gonna be able to monitor a huge amount of data via sensors and machines. It's expected that industries will be revolutionized by IoT. There's gonna be a lot of opportunity for us as network engineers, because IoT devices, by definition, are connected to the internet, so Internet of Things, which means that there's gonna be a lot more traffic that needs to be processed by networks around the…
