- In a previous video, we configured to this network consisting of a single Ubuntu docker container Cisco IOSv router and a NAT cloud. Now let's extend the topology by adding an additional Ubuntu docker container to the network. In this example, I'm gonna use a simple ethernet switch between the Ubuntu docker containers and the Cisco IOSv router. You don't have to use that. You could use a Cisco switch if you prefer or another switch. But in this example, I'm simply gonna use a basic ethernet switch. I'm gonna remove the link between the first docker container and the Cisco router. And I'll now connect the PC to the ethernet switch. Connect to the second PC to ethernet switch and connect the ethernet switch to the Cisco router. Similar topology now consists of a NAT cloud, Cisco router, ethernet switch, and two Ubuntu docker containers. What I'll do here is start up the second Ubuntu docker container and open up a consult.
