- [Instructor] Using Windows subsystem for Linux, we have the choice of using various Linux distributions. You can find them in the Microsoft Store by searching either for the term Linux, or by searching for a specific distro. At the time I'm recording this, you can choose between a handful of Debian-based distros, including Debian, Ubuntu, Pengwin and Kali, and some others, like Alpine and Suse. Be sure to check back to see if other distros are added in the future. You can have more than one distro installed at the same time. Each distro has its own separate root file system, and each user's distros are separate. So, if you have two users on one Windows machine, each user will need to download and install the distros they want to use.
