- [Instructor] In our introduction to the step sequencer, we only used one lane at a time per track. Here we're going to explore a multi-track sequence and get into some deeper workflows with the new step sequencer that's been improved with Logic 10.5 and up. So you can see I have a drum machine designer instrument loaded up on this instrument track. It's called Midtown summer. And I know it's a drum machine designer because you can see the DMD here. And if I click on this, you can see all the components of this drum machine. I can click on the kick, snare, hi-hat, et cetera. I can also open this disclosure triangle to see all of the components this way. Now I want to use this drum machine to make a multilane sequencer using the step sequencer. So now that I have the multi-lane DMD drum machine designer on the track, I can right click, create a pattern region as we've done before, and it makes a two-bar loop.
