- Yeah, we can get a little bit heavier with modulation in Alchemy if we to. The AHDSR is very advanced and very flexible. First of all, it comes, by default, on this default setting with modulation already assigned to it. So I'm going to go ahead and right-click and just clear it. If we click, we can ... Right-click, Clear Modulation, and now we are free and clear so I can give it a little Sustain, some Release, Decay, and a little bit of Hold, and a little bit of Attack. So you can see that that Hold, it's almost like a preliminary Sustain, except for the fact that it just holds it one level. (techno musical note) So we can Hold it for a nice long time, then give it a nice long Decay. And if we want to, what we can actually do is we can hit Sync, and we can beat sync certain parameters here. (techno musical note) And this is about as simple as it gets.
