- [Instructor] Now let's use the arpeggiator for something that you may not have thought of. Let's go ahead and grab a percussion instrument. So let's grab the Ultrabeat, old Ultrabeat, my old pal. Okay? Okay, so let's say I've got this. Let's do the closed hi-hat, right? And what I'm going to do, I'm going to record a sequence just holding down this note. Let me go ahead and quantize this. And I'll stretch it out, cover the whole region there. Now, let's grab an arpeggiator, and let's create a hi-hat pattern with it, all right? Little swing. Okay, the note length isn't going to make that big of a difference here but what we can do is we can sort of create a pattern here on the grid. Let's make it eight steps, then we can work our velocity here. Hey! And if you really wanted to have some fun, you could even add some different notes in here. So, let's say-- Okay, so we've got this other sound. So I'm going to go…
