Basic modeling with Electric Piano

- [Instructor] Okay, so let's get started with the electric piano modeler. This is a really cool instrument that's meant to emulate vintage electric pianos, Rhodes pianos, stage pianos, tine pianos, things like that. We can emulate a lot of different things with it, and one of the things that's cool about it, is it has a lot of different models in one. We can not only check out Rhodes sounds, we can also work with Wurlitzer sounds. It's a really versatile thing, and we can get really interesting, vibey, vintage sounds, but we can also create some new, interesting textures, because this is a little different from a sampler, it's a little more versatile. However, when we actually model an instrument, we have a little bit more control over the sound itself. It actually operates more like a synthesizer, which makes it a lot of fun to use, because it's actually like working an instrument.
