- [Instructor] Now let's talk about one of my favorite things, compression. Those of you who have been using Logic for a long time and that is over the course of the last decade or so, have probably noticed recently that the compressors have gotten a really nice facelift. I'm going to ahead and open up one of the compressors here and let me just show you what we're working with for this particular set of videos. (electronic dance music) All right, so there we are. That's a nice start. Definitely could use some compression. I figured that it would be kind of fun. So I'm going to go over to my base part here and let's take a look at just the regular old, very modestly named compressor plugin. When I open this up, we're going to see that it's on the platinum digital setting, and this is sort of the classic Logic compressor algorithm. This is a really versatile compressor algorithm.
