- [Voiceover] Now we're gonna review some tools and settings that you'll probably be going back to pretty often when producing music and working with Logic. If you've been using Logic for a while, you may already be familiar with a lot of these, but if you're a little bit newer to Logic, this might help you get acquainted with Logic's interface, and as I mentioned, some things that we'll be going back to later in this course. First, let's quickly look at a bunch of different track types. We're gonna access our different track types by going up to Track in our nav, New Tracks, and then our drop-down comes up, Right now in our project we have one software instrument created, and a software instrument is essentially a virtual instrument within Logic, so that will pull up a bunch of different plugins and sounds that we can use within the DAW using Logic's built-in plugins, or third-party plugins.
