- [Voiceover] Earlier in this course, we showed you how to automate some parameters in retro like the filter and the LFO rate. Let's pick up from that session and now take a look at some creative MIDI-Effects that you may be using often when producing electronic music. I'm going to first play this session so we can just refresh our minds on how this sounds. (electronic music) - Cool. So you can really hear the filter moving and also the LFO rate here. You can see the rate here in eighth note 16th note triplets, 32nd notes 64th note triplets and so on. I'm going to hit A on my keyboard to close out of automation for now and let's move on to this next track. I already have an instance of retro loaded up with a sound I've made, I added a little reloop too. Let's hear it. (electronic music) - Know what I didn't do in this sound?
