- [Voiceover] I want to quickly cover some drum programming and tempo fundamentals if you are working within certain genres. This course is just going to cover a few of them because there are so many genres and subgenres within the scope of electronic music. First, let's check out this acid house session and I'm going to play the track back. (electronic music) In this session, we're at a tempo of 122 and generally within the scope of house music you're going to be working at tempos somewhere between 110 to around 130 and let's take a look at our drums in this session. I'm going to hit command-four to pull up our piano roll large on the screen, so we can see what's going on with our drums and let's check this out. I'm also going to go back and quickly solo our drums, so let's have a listen.
