- [Speaker] Okay so now we're going to talk about the EXS24 sampler. Now, the EXS24 sampler is capable of emulating a lot of different types of instruments, both acoustic, electronic, it's also capable of some pretty cool sound mangling and some off the cuff sound design that can be really interesting. Now what I want to point out is that the EXS24 uses what are called samples. So basically it's using complex wave forms, also known as audio, and dropping them into a synthesizer engine essentially. So what we can do is we can control the playback, we can control the pitch, we can change a lot of different parameters when it comes to the playback of these samples, and then we also have things that we know and love from our synthesizers, such as LFO's, filters, things like that, all kinds of stuff that we can play with.
