- [Instructor] Sometimes, when we're doing sound design, We need to shrink something, make it shorter or expand it, make it longer. And there's a tool in Logic that I want to show you that does that. So, to do that, I'm going to take this empty dialogue track that we have here and call it "Flex". Not "Florex" but "Flex". And I'm going to import a piece of dialogue and a sound effect to show you this. So I'm going to grab the dialogue from our audio bin. It's this samurai S one S one take two, or take six, rather, dot two. So I'm just going to grab this whole piece, and toss it on that track, and then I'm going to jump up to where the motorcycle lives. It's in my bin even though it's in the loop bin too, and bring it in behind the dialogue piece. Okay, now I just want to solo this track. I don't want to mess up our mix, but I did want to show you this piece, and, let's try that. So, actually I've brought in a piece of mono dialogue, and a stereo sound effect so try that in Pro Tools…
