Getting to know preferences

- As you work in Logic you should be prepared to have a much more intimate relationship with the application preferences panel than you're used to. In most other apps the prefs panel is a place you may tweak once and then forget about it. This simply isn't the case when you're working in logic. Any seasoned user will tell you that preferences panel is a place you have to visit often depending on what you're doing. In this movie I'll go over some of the more important aspects of the preferences so you'll feel comfortable moving around in it. You can access the Logic prefs by going to Logic Pro 10, preferences, and then you have those whole list but you can open any of these to get to the rest of them. If I start with the general preferences, I can move into all the different subsets within that. Right away in the general prefs here's one that you may want to change depending on what you want Logic to do as it's default behavior when you open up a new project. Right now we have it set…
