- [Instructor] Some of my favorite samples to work with are classic drum and bass drum brakes. I just love the way they sound and you can do a lot of cool things with them to add kind of backing tracks or ghost notes in your drum tracks. So I have a drum and bass sample here, just a classic drum brake. And I'm going to go ahead and drag that right into our sampler. And you can see when I hover over this kind of empty box here, I can either drag it into a container called original, which will use the original tuning, loudness, looping, and length, or optimized, which will search for loop points and crop silence. I'm just going to go with original right now and let's drag it and load it in. And you can see, I have this drum sample here and in classic, if I play this here, it will essentially play the whole thing. If I play a note on my midi keyboard, let's hear this.
