MIDI delays and repeats with Note Repeater
- [Instructor] Now one thing that I do come across every now and then is a MIDI delay. And you may be thinking, what the heck is that? Well, let's take a look. We have this MIDI plugin called note repeater here. Let's grab it. And it's really simple. It's just like an echo, like an audio delay, like a plugin, except it's for MIDI information through makes it so that we are hearing both the incoming MIDI as well as the echoed or delayed MIDI notes that it's firing out. We've got the delay time, which we can set to bars and beats or milliseconds. That's the sync button, drag the slider to set it there. Let's do like a dotted eighth. Let's see where that gets us to start with. And then we've got the number of repeats. This is like feedback on an audio delay. We can have those transpose and then we can also have like a velocity ramp, which is really cool. So it can go up or down. It's very powerful. Now, in addition to…
