- [Instructor] Now I'd like to guide your attention to the materials area in the middle. Now a physical modeling synthesizer is essentially created to emulate two things banging into each other, And this is the way we play many different instruments. So whether it's a stick and a drum head, a noodle and a piece of glass, some air and a pipe, they're all different collisions that we have that create vibration, that create sound. And what we're doing is we're emulating those two separate components, in addition to some other X factors that we can work with. Now, these presets are pretty heavily done, so I'd like to guide your attention to the tutorial presets. Let's jump over to quadruple zero default, and what we'll have here is a nice starting point.
