- [Instructor] Another way of looking at the attack control, the A of ADSR, is that it controls how long it takes for the sound to go from zero to full volume. Yes, how long is a time parameter. It's usually measured in milliseconds, but that's not always the case. Here, back in Alchemy, we can see what a fast attack sounds like. The attack control I have here, I'll set to about 70 milliseconds, something like that. In this case, we can measure our attack in seconds and milliseconds. Now, the reason I said it's not always the case is because some controls have just simply a value from say zero to one, or zero to 10. But Alchemy like a lot of synth, give us the time in actual seconds and milliseconds. So here's an attack very quick of 0.077. Actually, I wanted to go higher than that. I wanted to get into the actual 0.077. So I want 0.07 or something like that, millisecond. So you know, less than a second, but almost…
