Specialized EQ roundup: Match, Single-Band

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at some of Logic's more specialized EQ plugins. We're going to start out with the single-band EQ. And so this is a really handy EQ because it allows us to use essentially one band at a time out of the channel EQ. And so we have a low cut, we have a low shelf, a parametric, which is like that bell that we were talking about, a high shelf and a high cut. So for example, if I wanted to do a cool filter sweep, I could automate this guy on my bass with a high cut. (bass tone resonating) And the reason you might want to do that is because we have other EQ plugins that are handy for doing all types of general cleanup and mixing and things like that, but if I'm doing a filter sweep and I'm going to automate that, for example, then it can be really nice to have one dedicated plugin, like the single EQ handling that duty for that one sort of musical gesture.
