- [Instructor] Logic has some great devices that we can use for creating stereo spread and extra modulation and a lot of those used delays. So let's just start out by looking at the sample delay. I've got this horn part here, (horn instrumental) and these are sort of just pops. And so what I want to do is maybe make these a little wider. The important thing to remember about any type of widening effect like this that uses delay or pitch is that you got to check things in mono to make sure that they're not just totally disappearing when you listen to them that way. So sample delay is really cool because it works in samples or milliseconds. And I like samples because sample accurate stuff tends to be a really clean way to work and we can be very precise with it. So all we're doing is delaying either the right or the left side of the signal. Or both. But for this particular type of effect, let's just delay the right and…
