- [Instructor] Now I want to show you a little trick using the Sampler instrument that I used to do in ESX24 all the time to add a little bit of sub bass to a track. So I have a bassline here, and I'm just going to play his. (upbeat bass music) So that bassline was created using Retro Synthesizer. But there isn't much sub bass in it. So what I did was make another track right below it, copy the MIDI. So this is the exact same MIDI. But I loaded an instance of Sampler in it's default state so that it's basically just playing the sine wave from the Sampler. And now, I have that playing as well. And I'm just going to solo this. (low bass music) And you might need to use headphones to hear this. (low bass music) But with both of them playing together, (upbeat bass music) Just adding the sub bass along with our kind of slightly more low mid bassline adds a lo of punch and that deep low end that's going to move a sub…
