Syncing Logic Pro X with an external clock

- [Voiceover] Now I'm gonna show you how to send MIDI time code and MIDI machine control out of Logic so that you can work with an analogue synthesizer that has a sequencer built in. What I want to do is sync up Logic via MIDI clock to my analogue synth so the sequencer on the synth will be synched up during playback and recording. The synth I'm using today is a TT-303 Bass Bot. It's a clone of Roland's TB-303 and I have a sequencer built into the TT-303, I'm gonna sync that with Logic. First, we're going to go to file, then we're gonna go to project settings, and then to synchronization. Next, I'm gonna go to MIDI in the tab under synchronization. And I wanna make sure that transmit to is on and I'm transmitting to my mio, which is a USB to MIDI device. I have the USB cable plugged into my computer and the MIDI cable side plugged into the MIDI port on my TT-303. I also wanna make sure that transmit MIDI time code is checked off here, and whatever device I'm using is selected. And…
