- [Instructor] One indispensable tool many producers rely on for vocals is tuning software. Logic Pro X comes with a really easy-to-use and intuitive tuning plugin called Pitch Correction. Let's take a brief look at some basic functions of how we can use Pitch Correction to fine-tune vocal pitch, and we'll also push the effect to the extreme to see how we can use it as an effect like for the T-Pain or Cher sound. Now, to me, Jade's vocals on this song are really well sung, and they don't exhibit any major pitch problems that stand out. In fact, you should be careful using tuning software to overcompensate on a singer's pitch, since all really good vocal performance have moments of out-of-tuneness that are sometimes the very thing that makes the voice compelling.
