- [Host] One component of any product, whether physical or web based, that is tremendously important but often overlooked is sound. Sounds can help us navigate a product, reinforce user behavior, reward users for accomplishing tasks, and provide really valuable assistance, especially to the visually impaired. They can also allow us to feel more immersed in certain technologies. It's importance can sometimes be overlooked because in many cases, and especially in navigation or game rewards, sounds can often be less than half a second long. When it comes to creating sounds for physical or web based products, there are several approaches that you may want to take. Usually based on intuition, visual feedback from a product's interface, motion design of the product and feedback from a client. Here we have some popular products that you might want to think about.
